Halau Manaola Merrie Monarch Hula Festival Kahiko
Hālau Manaola under the direction of Kumu Hula Nani Lim Yap competed at the 55th Annual Merrie Monarch Festival. The mele “He Hele Nō Kapiʻolani” choreographed by Carrington Manaola Yap speaks of Queen Kapiʻolani and her travels to each of the Hawaiian Islands spreading the word to her people to procreate.
